Equality, Liberty and Community, 2014.
Wool, cotton and thread. 36"x36".
Laying out placard upon placard in preparation for the march of marches, a public reclaiming of our human right to be, to exist, and to live with dignity together. . . Recognizing our differences, recognizing our shared humanity.
Thankful for our differences!
Thankful to be alive!
People coming together to honor and affirm the humanity of our ancestors, our children and our future generations. As far as the eye can see, winding through streets old and yet to be named, people make their way bearing their responsibility for each other and the planet we call home. We belong. We are enlivened.
